Christmas is sharing the gift of Jesus Christ with the world. Boxes of toys can bring joy to needy children everywhere. Join West Los Angeles Holiness Church in giving good tidings this season. Pick up shoeboxes from the church and fill them with gifts a child will enjoy and need. Bring your packed boxes back to church by Sunday, November 20. Now you’ve delivered cheer and Christ Jesus in the Season of Hope.
How does Operation Christmas Child Work?
 
A) Get a box or boxes –– how many do you want to fill? A shoebox or shoebox-size container works well. The church is distributing plastic boxes. You can pick them up in the church foyer. 
 
B) Fill the box with small toys, hygiene products, school supplies, clothes, etc. Anything a child will like and need.
 

Please DO NOT include the following:

  • War or war-themed toys or objects.
  • Candy, chocolate, or food.
  • Toothpaste.
  • Liquids or liquid-filled items.
  • Used clothes or used toys.
 
Then decide whether the box is for a girl or a boy, and indicate her or his age. Include $9 (minimum) per box for shipping costs.
 
C) Return the packed box and boxes to the church. We are collecting boxes every Sunday until the November 20th deadline
