Welcome to our Church

THEN & NOW
Our church was started in 1955 with a vision to share the good news of Jesus Christ with Japanese-speaking people in the area. Soon after that an English-speaking ministry was created to minister to second and third generation Japanese Americans, their children, friends, and neighbors. It’s our desire to be open to all people regardless of ethnic or social background, which is reflected in our worship service and other church activites. At West LA Holiness Church, it is our desire to teach the Bible as God’s Word and to hold it as authoritative in the church, and all areas of our lives. We also believe that being part of a Christ-centered church is vital for the continued health and growth of every follower of Jesus Christ.
